“Mom/Dad, I don’t want to go to school today. I feel like no one likes me. I feel like you don’t understand me. I hate myself. I am not good enough. I can’t do anything right.” These are some of the heartbreaking statements children are saying to their parents throughout this past year of tremendous change and chaos post pandemic. If any of these conversations have become common with your children, I would love to connect and help your child feel more happiness, peace, and pride in who they are and the things they do.

I have been helping children learn and apply social, emotional, and coping skills to use in their daily lives with school, friends, and family for the past 6 years. I offer a range of modalities based on your child’s personality including play therapy, family therapy, animal assisted therapy, and EMDR therapy. I specialize in using creative interventions such as sand tray, music, and art with talk therapy. My passion is supporting children, parents, and families in understanding what they are feeling, encouraging involvement in activities in the community and with family members, and creating fulfillment in their relationships and lives overall. I enjoy running self-esteem groups for boys and girls of all ages, mother daughter groups, and ADHD related Lego therapy groups.

Outside of therapy, I am a mom to two daughters and partner. I enjoy traveling, playing, and trying new activities and foods. I spend much of my time outside of work with my family, animals, and friends. I have two lionhead bunnies, Louie and Lulu, who love to be snuggled at home and be a part of people’s therapeutic journeys in our sessions.

How Does it Work?

Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating. When you’re ready, let’s get started by learning more about each other.
